as the city prepared for Game 7 of the World Series. We considered buying
tickets, but couldn't stand the thought of paying $250 each if the Yankees
won. We drove on through New Mexico and into Texas, searching the AM static
for a clear broadcast of the game before stopping just past El Paso. |
