Inspired by Project 365 I started taking a picture every day. The goal wasn't to showcase the best photos but to capture something of my day, like a digital diary. Sometimes I capture an exciting moment or interesting sight, but more often the shot is just some part of the world around me. Sometimes I miss a day and other days I can't decide and post two pictures so it all evens out.
I started on March 3, 2008, the day we moved out of the compound, and continued through New Year's Day 2010. After taking a break I picked it up again in March 2010. I currently post the daily pictures on Facebook but keep an archive here. We'll see how long it lasts this time.
